Little Artie has the saddest of stories. Brought over from Macedonia, he was living happily with his mummy but unfortunately his mummy wasn’t well and has passed away. Some of his mummy’s friends took him in and have done an amazing job looking after him in the short term since, unfortunately their grief, working full time and his grief were making life very difficult, Artie has developed quite a few anxious habits, he’s reactive to some dogs, some people and was quite possessive with toys. These lovely friends have made the very difficult decision to give him back to rescue, to find a family of his own again.
You would need to have no other pets and ideally only work part time or from home as understandably he now has some anxiety around being left, but this would be decided on a case by case basis.
Full behaviour support will be given and Artie will come with everything a little boy needs to start to build a new life.
Right now he misses his mum, he doesn’t understand why he’s in kennels and as much as we can love him, he really needs his own person again. If you have an Artie shaped hole in your life, please contact Strays Without Borders. If you don’t, please share, he doesn’t deserve or understand his whole world turning upside down.
