LOST DOG: If you don’t mind, please help me share this dog story too. (You all were super supportive of the Wichita woman looking for her dog from yesterday — thank you.)
Well, another family is looking for their lost dog. Can you help me get word out about this? Maybe this is a crime trend I need to track? Or maybe not? I just want to help. This is Molly. She’s missing from Great Bend.
Molly is Saint Bernard/Pit Bull mix. Her family was staying in a farmhouse this Sunday. It’s about 4 miles north of Russell and east of 281. The dog heard gun shots and took off running. Her owner couldn’t catch her and has been worried sick since. They’ve looked and drove for hours, but they’ve had no luck locating the dog. Theresa, the owner, said Molly has been a support animal for her in some of her toughest moments in life. She just wants her to come home.

The dog is about 100 pounds, had a purple collar on with tags from Animal Medical Center in Great Bend. She is chipped and very friendly. If you see this dog or have a tip, I’ll relay the info to her owner.
