This is our beloved puppy, Chloe. We sent Chloe to a board-and-train program for basic obedience training. The program was supposed to last 4 weeks. But just one week before she was supposed to come home, we received a call that we never expected.
We were told that she had died!!! Our baby that had a full life ahead of her was now dead.
The trainer, Cupid Dechaird Seymour, was vague and avoided answering our direct questions, saying, “She must have contracted something”.
Chloe had been to her vet and received a “clean bill of health” the day before she went to training!
After involving local police, Seymour finally delivered her body to our vet 3 days later, where we had a necropsy performed.
The results were heartbreaking and absolutely shocking!! Our most precious puppy was STARVED TO DEATH in just 3 weeks! Our puppy lost 33% of her body weight during her time there. The necropsy confirmed that her GI tract was completely empty.
