A dog story for Christmas…
Well done to firefighters who rescued Sonic and Angel- two Siberian Huskies who were stranded on a small bank at the side of a canal near Parkgate Shopping Centre.
The dogs had been missing since yesterday afternoon, until a member of the public spotted them having heard about their disappearance on social media.
Aston Park white watch used a paddle boat to rescue the dogs and bring them to safety- reuniting them with a very relieved owner.
Rotherham and Dearne fire stations were also in attendance.
Well done to all involved!
