Once upon a time, a man and his wife went to the zoo. They saw various animals and learned something from each one’s behavior.First, they saw a monkey and his mate. The monkey was playfully interacting with his partner, showing what seemed to be deep affection. Seeing this, the wife said, “Wow! Such romance!”As they walked further, they came across a lion and a lioness. The lion sat quietly in a corner, while the lioness was at a distance. They seemed disconnected, and the lion appeared indifferent and alone. Observing this, the wife remarked, “This is such a sad sight. There’s no sign of love here at all.”Smiling, the husband said, “Alright, now throw a stone near the lioness and see what happens.” The wife did as he said. As soon as the stone landed near the lioness, the lion roared fiercely and immediately sprang forward to protect her. Then, they went back to the monkeys. The wife repeated the same experiment and threw a stone near the female monkey. But this time, the male monkey quickly jumped away to save himself, leaving his mate behind. The husband looked at his wife and, in a thoughtful tone, said, “My dear, not everything that appears beautiful is real. Some people seem romantic and loving on the surface, but their hearts are empty. On the other hand, some people may appear distant and unemotional, but their hearts are filled with true love. In today’s world, there are many monkeys, but very few lions.”Listening carefully, the wife smiled and said, “You’re absolutely right. We should never judge based on appearances.”
