Steve Anthony, a homeless man with serious bone cancer, and River, his dog who was struck by a car and severely injured, both experienced a “Christmas Miracle.” When the dog was struck, Steve was working at a Christmas tree lot in Roseville, California.
River, who was frail, had a fractured pelvis. As a result, Jennifer began collecting funds on Facebook for River and Steve. River’s operation was a success. In just 48 hours, over $9,000 was gathered.The money was enough for Steve to find temporary housing while River healed. They’ll stay at a motel for a week while River recovers. What a wonderful Christmas present!
