
Imagine how desperate a sweet black Pit Bull mix felt after his owner tied him to a bus pole and dumped him at the intersection of Chambers Street and Bowen Street in Richmond, Virginia.The pup’s tearful eyes twinkled in the dark as he kept looking at the road. The more time that passed, the more sorrowful he became. He started losing hope that his owner would return for him.
Fortunately, a Good Samaritan spotted the doggo tethered to the pole and immediately contacted and asked for help.The staff rushed to the scene right away, worried that the dog could get hypothermia.
Appalled that the pup was dumped in such harsh conditions, the shelter took to Facebook and left a message for his owner.
“To the person who left their dog tied to the bus line pole in the freezing cold last night. Do better,” the shelter posted onWhen one of the shelter staff members untied the doggo and picked him up, he felt relieved because his nightmare had come to an end.
The shelter staff drove the pup to the shelter. They comforted him and took care of him.
