It started as an ordinary day in a residential car park until my friend made an unexpected discovery—a tiny puppy stuck in her car. This wasn’t her puppy, and she had no idea how it ended up there. As we speculated, the most likely explanation was heartbreaking: someone had abandoned the poor creature. Frightened and vulnerable, the puppy must have sought refuge under the car, only to find itself trapped.

Thankfully, she didn’t have any severe injuries, but her biggest challenge was a parasitic skin condition that would require treatment. We also tried to locate her original owner, but no one came forward. It became clear that Colo needed someone to take responsibility for her, so I decided to add her to my growing family of rescues.Within a few days, her transformation was remarkable. The once-frightened puppy had become lively and full of life. Watching Colo recover and grow was a rewarding experience, reminding me why rescuing animals like her is so important.
