Dearest friends on the internet,I trust this message finds you safely at home preparing your Taco Tuesday feast. All is well at my house.I would describe the past two days as being as close to perfect as any two days could be. Sunday was filled with anticipation of the big-ass snowstorm heading our way. (Don’t fuss at me. I’m allowed to say a-s-s because it’s in the Bible.) The snow started around 9:00 pm and quickly started to accumulate. The woman put all the fixin’s for homemade soup in the crockpot before bedtime. When we woke up Monday morning, the house smelled so good! And, we had about 4″ of snow. But, it turned to sleet and we now have a big ol’ icy mess. Tonight it’s supposed to go down to 8 degrees…you can bet your bottom dollar that there will be a fantastic Fuzzy Sock Nite in my house, that’s for sure!Today as I was patroling the house, I discovered a pile of warm, toasty laundry that the woman had just taken from the dryer. There was nothing for me to do but lay down on it in order to keep it warm. It took quite an investment of my time, but I stayed there for well over an hour until the woman came to put the laundry away. She thanked me for my service in protecting the house from rogue hot laundry. What can I say…I’m committed to my job and will always strive to do what’s right.I wanted to give Dr Kenny a little update…we are now at day #11 straight of Mother Nature visiting me in the litterbox. Some may see this as TMI…I see it as a reason to celebrate!I hope you all have a cozy evening. Please throw another blanket on the bed as it’s going to be quite cold for most of us. Drink a cup of hot cocoa before bed and then quickly dive underneath the covers. I look forward to talking with you all tomorrow!Very truly yours,Bob
